About T-Mobile Park
T-Mobile Park opened on July 15, 1999 as Safeco Field and was renamed in 2019. Its three-panel retractable roof works like an umbrella: it covers the field and stands in about 15 minutes but never seals the park, so games feel close to outdoor temperature. The Main Level runs 102-150, and nearly 21,000 of the park's seats are on it. The Muckleshoot Diamond Club (sections 25-35) is behind home plate, and the Terrace Club covers 211-249. The T-Mobile 'Pen gathering area sits in left-center and the Hit It Here Café in right field. The View Level (306-347) and roughly 3,700 bleacher seats in sections 180-195 hold the lowest prices, and value-menu items under $5 are sold throughout the park. TicketScan tracks T-Mobile Park onsales and presale windows.
T-Mobile Park Ticket FAQs
What is the capacity of T-Mobile Park?
The Mariners give the current seating capacity as 47,943, and MLB.com's 2026 ballpark guide gives the same number. Wikipedia lists 47,368. The team figure is used here.
Does the roof at T-Mobile Park close the stadium?
No. The roof covers the field and seating like an umbrella but the sides stay open, so it keeps rain off without climate control. On a cool night, dress for the weather even with the roof closed.
