About Levi's Stadium
Levi's Stadium seats 68,500 for San Francisco 49ers games in Santa Clara, an open-air Bermuda-grass field that opened in 2014 about 40 miles south of San Francisco. The building is famously lopsided for sun: the east side sits in shade for most afternoon kickoffs while the west side takes direct sun into the fourth quarter. The 100 level rings the field, the club and suite tower rises on the west sideline, and the 300 and 400 levels sit above. TicketScan lists when tickets for Levi's Stadium events go on sale, including presale windows.
Levi's Stadium Ticket FAQs
Which side of Levi's Stadium is in the shade?
The east side, where the lower-bowl sections face the suite tower, gets shade earliest for afternoon games. West-side seats stay in direct sun far longer, which matters for September and October kickoffs.
