Smoothie King Center Tickets

About Smoothie King Center

The Smoothie King Center opened in October 1999 as New Orleans Arena and took its current name in 2014; locally it is still often called the Blender. It stands directly beside the Caesars Superdome on the same state-owned campus, and the two buildings share the surrounding lots and approaches - which means event traffic here is shaped as much by whatever is happening next door as by what is happening in the arena, something worth checking before a Saturday or Sunday event. The Pelicans play here alongside concerts and touring shows. Seating runs from the lower bowl through club and suite levels to the upper bowl, and the building is compact enough that there is no genuinely distant seat in it. It is a walk from the New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal and from the Central Business District, and streetcar and bus routes run along Poydras Street nearby. TicketScan tracks when tickets for Smoothie King Center events go on sale, including presale windows that open before the public onsale.
