About SAP Center
SAP Center at San Jose opened in September 1993 and seats 17,435 for San Jose Sharks games. That count has held since the 2023 premium seating work, which added the 10,000-square-foot Penthouse Lounge and its theater boxes for four or six. A Daktronics center-hung board installed in 2022 doubled the old display area. A further $425 million in upgrades was announced in August 2025. Seating is a two-level bowl: the 100 Level lower bowl and the 200 Level upper bowl, where Sharks tickets are cheapest. Premium options include the Legends Level lounges, the Rinkside Room, the NetApp Celly Lounge and suites on the Premium Concourse and Penthouse levels. TicketScan tracks SAP Center onsales, including presale windows.
