About Protective Stadium

Protective Stadium seats 47,100 for UAB Blazers football in downtown Birmingham, next to the BJCC, and opened October 2, 2021. Center-field sections 106, 107, 111 and 112 sit closest to midfield on the lower level, in front of the Stadium Club premium seating on the midfield concourse. The venue also hosts Birmingham Legion FC of the USL and the UFL's Birmingham Stallions, and drew its attendance record, roughly 50,000, for a June 2022 Garth Brooks concert.
