Tom Osborne Field at Memorial Stadium has hosted Nebraska Cornhusker football since October 1923 and seats 85,458 across the East, West, North and South Stadium sections that ring FieldTurf laid in 1999. Nebraska's sellout streak, long the longest in major college sports, made the stadium famous for holding more fans on a Saturday than the state's third-largest city. In April 2026 the Board of Regents approved a $600 million South Stadium rebuild, but that project is not scheduled to finish until 2028, so today's bowl remains the same configuration fans have known since the last stadium-wide renovation.
