Wayne Day Family Field at Carter–Finley Stadium has hosted NC State Wolfpack football since October 1966 and seats 56,919 on a Tifway 419 Bermuda grass field with artificial turf sidelines. The bowl mixes chairback, bench and accessible seating across a lower level, club seats and luxury boxes, with an upper deck on both sidelines and end zones. A 2023 upgrade, finished around the stadium hosting an NHL Stadium Series game, replaced the north end videoboard with a screen more than double its previous size and updated the sound system. The stadium sits in the Carter–Finley complex west of downtown Raleigh.
