A $286 million rebuild between 2003 and 2009 replaced most of the original grandstands, and a 2023-2024 reseating project widened rows, trimming capacity from its earlier configuration. FieldTurf Vertex CORE was installed in 2022. The stadium runs east-west rather than north-south, giving defenders in the west end zone a sun advantage late in afternoon games.
